Online QuestAgent Demos
QuestAgent examples bellow share the same characteristics:
- All you need is a Java enabled web browser (Java 5 or higher is required).
- Demo is hosted on a simple file-serving web server (we’re using Amazon’s CDN).
- Search engine is running in QuestAgent search applet in your web browser, not on the web server.
Due to latency related with downloading files from the Internet, search performance that you may see here is probably the slowest it can be. It could be more than a magnitude faster if it was running from your local network, CD/DVD or hard drive.
Reuters Corpus Search using QuestAgent 10
- Demonstrates some features introduced in QuestAgent 10, most notably faceted search and search within results.
- Contains 3,000 news stories published by Reuters during September 1996.
- If you have really fast Internet connection, you could try the same example containing 36,500 news (published from August 1996 to August 1997). Size of this index, including news stories, is about 40MB.
QuestAgent 8 Demos
We don’t have an online demo with QuestAgent 8 at this time. However, QuestAgent 8 comes with a simple to use application for document indexing and search facility deployment. Go ahead, download it and try it with your document collection.
